At Mahj on the Move, we reserve tablescape rental inventory specifically for each customer and event date. A reservation deposit is required to secure your event date and rental package. Payments and cancellations are subject to the following Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

All reservation deposits are non-refundable.

If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify Mahj on the Move as soon as possible in writing.

Refund eligibility for amounts paid beyond the non-refundable reservation deposit is based on the timing of the cancellation:

30 or more days before the event: The reservation deposit is retained. Any additional payments made toward the rental balance may be refunded.
14–29 days before the event: The reservation deposit is retained, and up to 50% of the remaining rental balance may be charged or retained.
Less than 14 days before the event: The full rental amount is non-refundable.

Any applicable refund will be calculated based on the date Mahj on the Move receives the written cancellation request.

Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. Customers may request to reschedule their event date.

Rescheduling requests are subject to:

Availability of the requested new date.
Availability of the original tablescape package and rental inventory.
Any applicable price differences.
Any applicable rescheduling fee.

The original reservation deposit will generally be applied toward the new event date when the rescheduling request is approved.

If the new date cannot be accommodated, the cancellation policy will apply.

Weather & Unexpected Circumstances

For outdoor events, customers are responsible for having an appropriate backup plan in the event of rain, wind, extreme temperatures, storms, or other unfavorable weather.

Weather-related cancellations are subject to the same cancellation policy.

Mahj on the Move may, at its discretion, work with the customer to reschedule an event when circumstances make the original event date impractical or unsafe.

Cancellation by Mahj on the Move

If Mahj on the Move must cancel a reservation due to circumstances within our control and we are unable to provide the contracted rental services, the customer will receive a refund for amounts paid for services that were not provided.

Mahj on the Move will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer as soon as possible and, when practical, offer an alternative date or comparable rental arrangement.

Damaged, Lost or Missing Items

Refunds do not apply to charges for damaged, lost, missing, or excessively soiled rental items.

Any applicable damage, loss, cleaning, repair, or replacement charges remain the customer's responsibility.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.

Please allow 5–10 business days for an approved refund to be processed. Additional processing time may be required by the customer's bank or payment provider.

Non-Refundable Fees

Unless otherwise stated in writing, the following fees are non-refundable:

Reservation deposits
Rescheduling fees
Delivery fees for services already provided
Setup or styling fees for services already performed
Other fees specifically identified as non-refundable at the time of booking
